How to delete your account and personal data from TeezBar

Your Right to Data Deletion

At TeezBar, we respect your right to control your personal data. You may request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time. This page explains the available methods, what data is deleted, and what may be retained for legal purposes.

How to Request Data Deletion

Option 1: Through the App

  1. Open the TeezBar Taxi application
  2. Go to Profile (bottom navigation)
  3. Tap Settings
  4. Scroll down and tap Delete Account
  5. Confirm your decision when prompted

Your account will be deactivated immediately and your data will be scheduled for permanent deletion.

Option 2: Via Email

Send a data deletion request to:

support@teezbar.kz

Please include the following information in your email:

  • Subject line: Data Deletion Request
  • The phone number registered with your TeezBar account
  • Your full name (as registered in the App)

We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion via email.

Option 3: Via Phone

Call us at +7 700 670 31 16 during business hours and request account and data deletion. Our support team will verify your identity and process the request.

What Data Is Deleted

Upon processing your deletion request, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • Account profile — name, phone number, and any other profile information
  • Ride history — all past trip records, routes, and associated metadata
  • Ratings and reviews — ratings you have given and received
  • Chat messages — all in-app conversations with drivers or passengers
  • Driver documents — uploaded photographs, license data, and vehicle information (for driver accounts)
  • Device tokens — push notification identifiers
  • Saved addresses — favorite locations and route history

What Data May Be Retained

In accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, we may retain certain data for a limited period after account deletion:

  • Transaction records — fare and payment data may be retained for up to 3 years for tax and accounting compliance
  • Legal dispute data — if there is an ongoing investigation or dispute, relevant data may be retained until resolution
  • Anonymized analytics — aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics may be retained

Retained data is stored securely and is not used for any purpose other than legal compliance.

Processing Timeline

  • In-app deletion: account deactivated immediately; data deleted within 30 days
  • Email request: acknowledged within 3 business days; data deleted within 30 days
  • Phone request: processed during the call; data deleted within 30 days
